Green Mountain Computing Systems is a market leading supplier of VHDL simulation solutions which have previously been sold through OEM partnerships with other EDA tool vendors. VHDL Studio represents Green Mountain's entry into the design tools market under their own brand name, and is the first of a planned line of complementary products designed to enhance the productivity of HDL designers.

VHDL Studio is a complete VHDL design entry, simulation & debug solution which integrates design entry with fast VHDL'93 behavioral & structural (VITAL/SDF) simulation for fast, direct-compile simulation. Comprehensive project management features are included as standard, and a number of graphical tools including a state machine editor and test bench generation tool make design entry fast and efficient. VHDL Studio also includes VITAL specific optimization and built-in VITAL libraries delivering performance up to seven times faster than competing tools.
